REMEMBER the day™ on social media

I have been focusing a whole lot on my REMEMBER the days™. I (finally) set up social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram) for the REMEMBER the day™ brand, and I have been spending quite a bit of my time generating photos and content for those accounts.

For so long I resisted getting the REMEMBER the day™ brand on to social media. I knew it would require a time commitment to generate quality, worth while content that would engage my audience. Well, I was not wrong. Getting quality photography and generating content for my REMEMBER the day™Facebook and Instagram accounts has consumed my time the past couple of weeks (since setting the accounts up).

We all have a certain quote, saying, phrase, or verse that we just love; that speaks to us, provides inspiration, offers comfort, or represents a message to a loved one. I did these matching custom canvases earlier this week - they are the wedding vow for Kristen and her husband, Elias. The canvases match but the color arrangement is slightly different. The typeface is Love Potion an the color palette is Love.

REMEMBER the day shop :: closed for the holidays

Just a little fyi ... starting today my REMEMBER the day online shop is closed for the holidays. My store is still accepting orders, however, I will not be processing the orders and working up the designs until my shop reopens on January 6th (so any orders placed between today and January 6, 2014 will receive their proofs sometime between January 6 and January 13).

Side note, any outstanding orders that have been sent proofs, should ship and be received in time for Christmas.

PURE mamas giveaway!

Over the past month, I collaborated with Juli of PURE mamas and Kookie Karma to create this special print.

This is a custom *REMEMBER the day* that uses the illustration and typefaces from the couples' wedding invitation, which I designed {and will share soon}.

I did a little housecleaning in my color palettes available for my REMEMBER the days ... I got rid of some color palettes that weren't popular or didn't work well, and I added a few that seem like they may have a demand.

remember the day baby announcements :: now available

I have created baby announcements from my *REMEMBER the day* designs upon request. However, it was long overdue for me to get my *REMEMBER the day* baby announcements up in my Etsy shop and available for purchase.

These announcements are digitally printed, flat cards A6 in size (4.5x6.25"); and they come with matching colored envelopes of your choice. The announcements can be designed around a photo, like shown.

I love the way my *REMEMBER the day* typographic designs look when paired next to the photo of the design's namesake!

I have had this print in my Etsy shop since I "opened' it ... an absolutely beautiful statement about a mother's love for the baby growing in her tummy.

Goodness, just typing that gives me goosebumps!

Anyways, I loved this statement and could only imagine how special its message would be to a new mother. Hence why I created the typographic print that is in my shop.

When my sister found out she was expecting her first child, my whole family was over the moon. My excitement for my sister and my own joy at becoming an aunt, warranted that every holiday since we found out, I have given my sister a meaningful gift related to her and her baby. For her birthday in May, I customized the "strength of my LOVE" print with my sister's first sonogram photo of her baby. I did not share this project at the time (back in May) because the joyous news was still among family at that time. However, I came across the photos of the design today and I wanted to share...

So, that sweet little man is my nephew, who will be making his arrival in August. My open-ended plane ticket is already booked!
