a portrait of my son, once a week, every week, in 2014

photo taken october 16, 2014 // Denver, Colorado

Raffa has been taking one nap a day since he was about 10 months old. Until recently, that nap was in the morning. In the past month, we have transitioned it to midday instead, with good result (easier, longer naps). It also allowed us to start going to music class again. We had not been able to go for a while because nap time interfered with the toddler class that Raffa was ready for. It is a great morning time activity, but surprisingly, Raffa has been having a little bit of a tough time transitioning in to the morning music toddler class. He has been cranky at class, which is a total contrast to how much he enjoyed it before. We are sticking it out and I hope he will settle in and enjoy it fully again soon.

On Thursday morning before music class, John, Raffa, and I went and had coffee and breakfast at a local coffee shop before class. It was so nice, and Raffa was giving some {silly} serious faces while sharing a breakfast burrito with John.
