happy easter & remember the place

Hello and Happy Easter! Hope you had a wonderful holiday spent doing the things you love with the people you love. John and I are in Denver for the holiday. In addition to working in some new scenery {my office = my parents' dining room table}, I have gone on a couple of road rides since I have been here, a couple of runs, and a couple of walks with Mocha. John and I went to IKEA yesterday and browsed around. We tried Larkbuger {which was absolutely delicious} last night.  For Easter today, we had a very nice brunch with family. All-in-all a great trip so far, and we will get a few more adventures in before we leave on Tuesday - a bike ride to Golden tomorrow and I think we may go to The Kitchen in Boulder for lunch.

Today being Easter, I had a little lull in other projects which allowed me to explore the idea for a new kind of *remember the day* ... a REMEMBER the place. I have been playing around with the idea in my mind, and today I found time to explore this concept more fully; that concept being a piece of art {in this case a print} that allows you to remember places where special events in your life have taken place ... birthplaces, cities where a wedding was held, a city where you met your significant other, etc. This is the design solution I came up with...

The idea is each city as seen through the window in the shape of a heart, with or without the individuals' and/or family name on the bottom. No date or further information needed - your memory supplies those details. The REMEMBER the place is a 8x10" or 11x17" print, ready to be frames {like shown above, for example}. I am going to develop this idea a little further, but hope to add it to my *remember the day* shop very soon. Once again, Happy Easter & Happy Spring!
