The tees are athletic gray, American Apparel tri-blend t-shirts which are a 25% cotton, 50% polyester, 25% rayon. These tees are some of our favorite; they have a soft, vintage, comfortable fit and feel that retains it shape and elasticity. The onesies are heather gray, Rabbit Skins and are 93% cotton, 7% polyester.

The tees are available in sizes 3 months to 4T; the onesies are available in sizes newborn to 18 months.

I was looking for a ceramic salt cellar for my kitchen counter, and the most obvious place to go for such a thing is Etsy! With so many talented artisans, I often head to Etsy when I need something handmade. While my search for a salt cellar ended in my purchase of this herringbone patterned one, in my search I came across a bunch of ceramics that I would just love to add to my earthenware collection.

color inspired :: pink grapefruit

Today I was inspired by the delicious, delicate pink of Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream Grapefruit Frozen yogurt. I just found out that my local Fresh Market stocks Jeni's ice creams!

But this sweet yet refreshing pink makes me think of Essie's East Hampton Cottage polish and Joe's Jeans Skinny in Evening Sand (on sale!). This powder pink can also be found in this tribal pattern print from Hitch Print Shop (I am loving tribal prints lately, remember?) and these gorgeous Missoni ballet flats.

I have been lusting after this Joie Rancher top for quite some time (featured here back in the spring). It is still at the top of my list of most wanted pieces.

It is available from Joie as well as many other online retailers... here, here, here, and here among many others. Seeing it on the different retailers' websites is a good way to see it on all different models. Or maybe I am just torturing myself since I am not ready to pull the trigger on a $158 silk tee.

I love Scotch Naturals nail polish ... their polishes are non-toxic, water-based, and free of ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, nitrocellulose, acetone, and heavy metals.

I was not a huge fan of tribal prints when I lived in Colorado ... but now that I am not longer there, I am digging these native motifs more and more. It all started when I purchased this iPhone case and it has expanded from there.

I think cloth napkins add a feeling of fun formality to a special meal. I love these Matteo Fabel napkins made from vintage linen - they are just beautiful and are $65 for 4 napkins. Pottery Barn's Hemstitch Linen napkins are very similar and are a little less expensive, $54 for 6 napkins.

friendship bracelets

After I posted the Ariel Gordon's silk braided bracelets last week, two of my closest friends (Jenny & Emily) and I started a conversation on facebook. We all three LOVED the bracelets, and each had our own three-color combos picked out. Jenny mentioned we should do them as friendship bracelets, even if that was dorky. If only we had the money to each purchase a $108 bracelet ...

Then, we decided it wasn't dorky and even Ariel Gordon's website called the bracelets "friendship bracelets" {guess it wasn't our original idea afterall}...

Then, I remembered! We did have money for the bracelets. We used to have monthly  business and creativity meetings as part of a business-minded, idea-nurturing, productive group comprised of the three of us that we called Master Mind Women's Club (MMWC). We are the three Master Minds, of course. It may sound a little middle school, but during these meetings we hashed out all sorts of ideas, started and finished projects, and even developed business ideas. Yes, MOCHIE-ROO, hello there, design, and my *remember the days* were all nurtured in MMWC meeting. Many a meetings were spent business planning for Jenny's Pretty-Bras for Nursing Moms and our family 5Ks  raising money for Best for Babes were born of the meetings too. Emily has a blog and cookbook in the works as a result, as well. So, these meeting were no child's play {except for Emily and Jenny's children playing in the background while we would meet, of course} and were highly productive. Anyways, back to what I remembered - I remembered our dues! We collected dues at each meeting {saving up for a vacation for the three of us}. We had our MMWC dues sitting in my bank account and we decided THAT is how we would purchase our friendship bracelets.

So, $324 plus shipping later, our bracelets in our selected color palettes (above) are on their way to us! The time was just perfect for us to get these friendship bracelets, as Emily had just moved to Denver about a month ago, I am leaving for Miami in a week, and Jenny will still be in Bayfield/Durango, Colorado. With all of us spread out among three cities, these silk braided bracelets will be a reminder of our special friendship and love for each other ... chloe :: emily :: jenny.

Guest Post: Love & Natural Products by Krissea + Giveaway

I'm Kristin stopping by from http://www.krissea.com/.  I feel so honored my dear friend Chloe has invited me to guest post on &Chloe.  My passions and interests are many, but because I'm just on the heels of a trip to SoCal for a Natural Products trade show, I thought it'd be fun to share a bit of the experience with you all.  For anyone out there that has ever shopped at Whole Foods, that has ever purchased an organic food product, a "green" cleaning product, or a natural beauty product (just to name a few), there is something you would have found and loved at Expo West Natural Products show in Anaheim, CA.

This year over 60,000 retailers attended to visit over 2,000 booths covering 1 MILLION net square feet at the Anaheim Convention Center (and as a result MY FEET were a bit sore to say the least).  I was there representing Zuke's, a natural dog treat company based out of Durango, Colorado.

A lot goes into putting this show together.  Each attending company works hard the night before so the next day they are ready to meet new potential customers, reconnect with current business partners, and feed lots of hungry attending foodies (including me!) 

A few of my fav samples included:

PB Crave - This is the first I've seen this company and all I can say is I hope it's not the last. They are a peanut butter company and with flavors including COCO Bananas and Cookie Nookie I was in Peanut Butter heaven.  They donate a portion of profits to a non-profit organization focused on treating malnourished children. StonyField Farms - The Stonyfield Farms Booth is Freaking Awesome. Everyday they set up a Yogurt Bar with toppings like organic granola and Annie's Chocolate Bunnie Grahams. Check out the Yogurt Bar and their cute booth shaped like a giant yogurt.

My fav booth in the beauty aisle every year hands down is Love & Toast: check it out - so bright and pretty. Not only do I love their booth but I LOVE their products too.  Their honey coconut perfume smells like summertime. http://www.loveandtoast.com/.

And of course you can't go wrong with organic peanut butter cups. 'Nuff said. This year Justin's also unveiled a new product that was similar to a Twix bar...only it was organic. http://www.justinsnutbutter.com/.
