Today we took the boys to
The Big Wonderful in
RiNo. RiNo is an industrial neighborhood slash arts district just north and east of downtown Denver. It is a unique mix of industrial relics, art studios, breweries, coffee shops, and hip restaurants. The Big Wonderful, held in a mulched open space, is a marketplace with everything from local artists, food trucks, produce vendors, and live music.
We had been wanting to check it out for a while, and finally made it down there today (perhaps on the hottest day ever!). Turns out The Big Wonderful felt a little more booze-focused (a place for people to go hang out and drink) versus the farmers market I was envisioning. But, the boys had a blast eating a Hawaiian-style snow cone (ice cream on the bottom, marshmellow topping drizzled on top) and dancing/jumping to the live music.
