Raffa started swim lessons a week ago and I was surprised that sometime between the summer time and now he had become a little weary of the pool. Our first swim lesson was a little rocky. We went back to the pool several days later on our own and Raffa was, again, a little unsure. I got cuddles out of it, but I struggle to find a balance between comfort cuddles and encouraging confidence. Less than five minutes after this photo was taken, Raffa was enjoying the water. He especially likes to crawl on the bottom of the pool in the 1-foot deep area with his hands, his legs trailing/floating behind him.
