sumbody

During our stay at the Farmhouse Inn during our Cali wine country vacation, I discovered my new favorite bath and body products. One of the {many} luxuries of staying at the Farmhouse are the bath and body products you find in the rooms. Typically, I don't give hotel shampoo, body wash, or lotion a glance. I am not one of those people who hoards those mini bottles. The products at the Farmhouse - different story. In our bathroom (above) we found shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion by sumbody - a Sebastopol, California all natural, no nasty ingredient body care company. Then in the concierge area, you could also slice off a hunk of the avocado goat or milky goat soap or choose from one or two scrubs.

I used the shampoo and conditioner, body wash, and lotion during our stay and loved it. I used the body wash and lotion on Raffa, too; the ingredients are pure and simple and that is a requirement for things that go on my baby's skin. In fact, I purchased a lotion and shampoo to take home. I didn't think much of the bars of soap, though, and as an afterthought, sliced off a chunk of the milky rich soap to take home. When I got home and started using it, I was in love. I love the fresh, rich, creamy smell and the creamy lather. It moisturizes amazingly, and I even use it as a shave cream. My little chunk of soap didn't last long, so I ordered several bars.

I have started pinning my favorite bath and body products on to a Pinterest board for that purpose. I included the sumbody products I love, plus some of my other favorite bath, body, and hair products that I use daily. Are you on Pinterest? Check it out.

HaHa! I felt the same as you until our honeymoon when I spent way too many hours toting around some Bvlgari shampoo and lotion to match the scent. I never succeeded but look forward to trying out what you found. My Ben has mild eczema and sensitive skin but it's easy to control if you keep the "junk" off him. :)

Sebastopol is SUCH a neat place! Most of my family is in Santa Rosa, close to there. It is so lush and green, amazing old homes full of character and off beat shops. How did you ever leave that bathtub in your first photo, haha?

I love the simplicity of these products - they leave me feeling so clean and fresh! ha! The milky soap has such a unique scent, too. Let me know how you like sumbody if you try it!

I didn't actually get to go to Sebastopol! :( But everyone says it is so cute. I was more in the Healdsburg area, so similar area and we went to Santa Rosa to go to Whole Foods and Target hahahaha. I loved the area. And, I am telling you I have Farmhouse Inn bathroom (the whole bathroom was amazing) withdrawls STILL, and I have been home for almost a month!
