denim jackets + vests

Out of the maxi dresses I ordered, this Splendid one ended up being my favorite. In fact, I started with the putty gray (pictured) and have since gone back for the black and blue (called denim), too.

I usually pair my maxi dresses with a scarf, but then I saw these photos on People.com and knew I needed to add some denim for a change.

So I am on the hunt for a denim jacket or vest. There are plenty of options out there ... here are a few that I am going to give a try:

I already have no. 2, the Levi's Denim Trucker Vest from Urban Outfitters, actually I am wearing it today (see a little peek here - not the greatest picture) with the blue Splendid maxi dress. I love this vest and for $68, it didn't break the bank.
